WHY TRAIN YOUR DOG?

Everybody wants a friendly, well-behaved dog. A dog that you can take anywhere without risk of bothering others. A dog who behaves well in a crowd, has good manners when guests visit, is reliable around children, and who doesn’t lunge, bark, or threaten other dogs or passers-by.

We cannot assume our dogs will behave without first teaching them what is expected. Owner/Dog communication is the key. Functional obedience training teaches the family dog appropriate behavior, at home and in public, and teaches the owner how to understand, handle, and communicate with their dog. 
 

I will teach you how to handle behavior problems such as jumping, barking, growling, biting, pulling on the leash, car chasing, door bolting, digging, housebreaking, and chewing. I will help you to establish a proper relationship and a language to communicate so that when you tell your dog to do something they will understand. I will teach you how to teach your dog to be reliable to your commands despite distractions.
