What can we say about Dawn Wolfe and her training technique? 

We love our Garvey (Malinois/Lab)...I always knew that he was a good dog and that he'd been abused and needed to be reassured that he was loved.
 I thought for sure that after the episode with him and my husband (They were literally fighting and Garvey bit my husband and drew blood.), that he was a goner for sure. My husband was adamant and stated that he wasn’t about to let a dog rule the house. It was a horrible weekend…I cried and cried and just knew that I was going to lose Garvey. All the shelters I contacted were frightening…they all told me without doubt that they would have to put Garvey down because of his aggressive behavior. With me, he was always sweet and lovable, and I knew that he could be with my husband too. So, out of a desperate situation I searched and searched on-line until I came across Dawn Wolfe’s web site and I thank God that we found her. 

She’s an excellent trainer whose website advertised that she specialized in aggressive behavior and also trained wolves for TV and movies. We made the right decision to invest in the training because after only 1 session w/ her we saw a huge difference in Garvey's attention span and behavior. We thought it was a miracle and we couldn’t believe what we were seeing Garvey do within the first 30 minutes. Needless to say, it’s been over a year since we called Dawn and Garvey is still with us. He's a great dog. Most important to note is that he’s happy and so are we. He still has a bit of an abandonment issue and hates to be left alone, but he deals with it because I think he’s finally learning that we always come home and if he’s sent away to a kennel, he always comes home to us. He still grumbles in discontent sometimes when he's scolded or told to do something he doesn’t want to do, but he always listens in the end. We haven't had any major issues w/ his behavior since the training began...it's a never-ending process though...just like children are continuously being taught how to "act right", Garvey gets the same treatment. However, he also gets a lot of love and attention.

 I'd recommend Dawn and her program to anyone, esp. dog-owners who are experiencing any type of aggressive behavioral issue with their dog, or even a dog that although may not be aggressive might be strong-willed and extremely disobedient. This program can work miracles!
